SUMMARY:Summer Field School (Hybrid) on Mountain Ecosystems & Resources Management
DESCRIPTION:GOAL OF FSc MER 2023 \nBuilding perspectives and capacities of young researchers\, PhD students\, teachers\, field practitioners and future leaders on regional mountain ecology\, sustainable development\, local livelihoods and linking world’s climate by integrating principles of biologically inspired solutions.\n\nGLOBAL SCOPE\nThe natural ecosystems in mountains areas are crucial for the existence of humankind on this planet. FSc MER 2023 program is to cover the contexts of mountain regions globally i.e.\, Himalayas\, Alps\, Andes\, Rockies\, Karakoram\, Pamir\, Carpathian\, Caucasus\, Mount Kenya\, etc. About 40 participants are invited from all over the world to take part in-person and 1000 participants can join virtually on the Zoom. \n\n\nGLOBAL FACULTIES FSc MER 2023 will be delivered in English employing participatory training methodologies with the integration of regional ecological perspectives. Our faculty members are internationally renowned professors\, scientists and professionals who will impart their grounded experiences on respective topics. \n\n
